I learned a valuable lesson watching Ethan’s first basketball
game! Life, or the game, is what you
make it! For him, it was all about
fun! In the first quarter, he ran off
the court (during the game) to go hug Mimi and Pops who drove all the way in
from Okeechobee. Then he ran by Nana
& Papa and gave big thumbs up. He
drank a lot of Gatorade and smiled at us a lot!
In the second quarter he ran off his home court, past his referee into
the other ongoing basketball game, through all of those kids playing, circled
their referee twice, and then ran back to his home court to shoot a basket. He missed, but we were all laughing and
cheering so hard he never noticed that he missed to basket! He was having too much fun!
Running to give Mimi & Pops hugs.
Why run when you can skip?
